The Regulation on Control of Soil Pollution and Point Source Contaminated Sites (RCPSC) published in 2010 and started to be fully implemented in 2015.
The industrial facilities as per the regulation have prepared Facility Information Forms and registered in the Contaminated Site Assessment System until September, 2015.
After this phase, the competent (private) organizations in collaboration with the Ministry, follow the process of field surveillance at potential sites, sampling and analysis of the samples, reporting the results, the decision of site remediation or included in the list of suspect sites.
